  • Provider of high tech solutions (IT and telecommunications) developing countries to assist in leapfrogging the development of the society. Solutions include security, social media and telecommunications services that decrease the digital divide.
  • Development of ecowellness centers. These real estate projects are creating places of optimal wellbeing for people, implemented in harmony with the surrounding nature and the ecosystem. Current largest project is in North Finland, with the total construction volume of in some thousands of apartments, hotel rooms, wellness spa and fitness facilities. Project pipeline extends to other Nordic countries, Brazil and Arab Emirates.
  • Target to ramp up microfinance social media entity, to improve the lives of people in poverty, and providing still great ROI for the investors of this organization.
  • Training and coaching of multinationals on organizational wellbeing. Reference companies include leading telecommunication companies of the world, one of the largest international consulting companies, pharmaceutical, media companies, as well as governmental entities and major seminars.
  • Co-Author of book on the success and life balance: “Life Management” with Dr. Alexandre Feldman. Published in Finland by WSOY, 2006 (Life Management – Hallitse itse elämääsi). Articles on number of leading magazines and newspapers on life management.

General Manager, Total Product Offer Management and Mobile Services, Latin America

  • Due to company’s requirement relocated to Latin America, where overall management responsibility of 600 million people strong Latin American area of 30+ countries for Nokia’s media business in Nokia Multimedia Corp. Another target was to utilize Nokia’s tax incentives effectively to improve Nokia’s R&D operations in Brazil. This would also improve the overall R&D capability of Brazil and provide employment for few hundred people in less developed Amazons region.
  • Created a “Future Solutions” division that grew from zero to over hundred people and organization providing R&D solutions to 5 continents of the world. The targets given were past by a wide margin.
  • In Asia-Pacific, Profit / Loss responsibility for Sales of Mobile Services. Negotiated and built mobile service business in Thailand from nothing to become World’s sales volume leader at Nokia, providing about as much sales as rest of Asia-Pacific together in service business in 2004. Regional Project Manager, in charge of transferring this knowledge to Philippines, the most active service market in the World and other markets.
  • Holistic understanding of Nokia’s business after running 6 different teams and business areas in three years, and successfully spin off the departments by knowledge transfer to local employees: business development, product marketing, after sales services, mobile services, customer relationship management and e-business. In charge of large number of direct and indirect teams.

  • Created group of mobile high tech companies with high-caliber international venture capitalist entities. Entities expanded quickly to 12 countries with close 20 operator customers. Successful exit of the company to UK listed entity with final price tag of 8 Million EUR in 2006. Currently holding no longer financial or other interests in these entities.

  • In Asia-Pacific, One of the chief negotiators in building up Ericsson’s alliance network in Asia-Pacific looking at emergence of Mobile Media and Entertainment and Mobile Service Businesses. Responsible for critical alliance negotiations between Ericsson and leading Internet companies in Asia-Pacific.
  • Significant part of the deliverable are confidential. Publicly announced: Reuters - financial information to handhelds (Account manager, Asia-Pacific). Sina.com, co-operation agreement between Ericsson and the biggest Chinese internet destination site. Beijing, PT Wireless 9.11.1999 (Global Account manager of negotiations.) a dozen of other global heavy-weight partners.
  • In Thailand, In charge of analyzing Internet and Telecom markets of Thailand for top management. Achieved to predict the impact of Wireless Internet business and define WAP ALLIANCE project and competence transfer plan for whole Asia-Pacific take steps for Ericsson to be significant player in the changing market dynamics.
  • In Finland, Benchmark Ericsson against 8 World-Class IT firms to recommend for Ericsson Finland 2005 strategy in the eve of convergence of Telecom and Internet business. This study was a breakthrough study discovered Ericsson’s serious problems and smoothen the restructuring significantly. New strategy to deliver 700% growth of service business.
